Data Guardcord stores
Your Discord identity and encrypted authorization let the community you verified for restore your membership if it needs to move. Guardcord does not receive your Discord password or private messages. Communities can request optional account details during verification; the verification page shows what they request before you authorize.
Verification safety checks
Communities can enable browser and network checks to help review linked accounts. Verification explains the checks and any optional IP storage. These records stay scoped to that community.
If a community enables network reporting, Guardcord records daily counts grouped by country, network ASN and ISP, with allowed, blocked or unavailable network-check outcomes. These aggregate reports contain no member IDs or IP addresses. Collection is off by default and requires an eligible plan. Daily counts expire after the community’s configured retention window of 1–30 days; the default is 30 days. Network checks use IPQualityScore when configured. Optional encrypted verification IP records remain subject to their separate consent and retention controls.
Site analytics
We use Rybbit to understand page visits and browser and device information. Analytics requests go through Guardcord's domain. Page query strings, sign-in cookies and authorization headers are excluded. Analytics does not grant access to your Discord account or permission to recover your membership.
Workspace billing
When a workspace owner purchases a plan, Stripe handles checkout, payment details and invoices. Guardcord stores billing account and subscription references, the selected plan, confirmed access dates and billing event identifiers. Guardcord does not store card numbers. Buying a workspace plan is separate from a member's permission for verification and community recovery.
Member recovery authorization
Your community's operators can use your active authorization to welcome you to a replacement server. Permission is scoped to the community you verified for; leaving its server does not remove the authorization.
Remove your authorization
You can remove the application's authorization in Discord at any time. Revoking access stops further recovery. It does not automatically delete saved records.
